There are two bedrooms available on your private floor.(one queen and one double). Both have high quality mattresses with more than adequate cupboard and hanging space. Both rooms open onto the front verandah, providing beautiful morning light. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and heaters. The living room has a large flat screen LCD SMART TV with NETFLIX, and a selection of DVD's available to you. This area is air-conditioned for your comfort. There is a kitchenette for your sole use and a full shared kitchen downstairs. The door at the top of the stairs separates our spaces. The bathroom is compact, however the shower is well sized. We have a beautiful large grassed backyard (unheard of in the inner west) - that's just calling out for a picnic! The kitchenette is well stocked with cooking utensils (there is also a barbecue outside you may use on request). The shared kitchen downstairs has an oven which you can use on request. However, just as a warning, with the number of amazing and varied cuisines available just minutes away you're unlikely to waste any of your holiday time cooking.

It is a 2 storey double brick home which gives great insullation and you will have sole access to the upper floor ( which is street level), 2 bedrooms , bathroom, lounge and kitchenette separated from downstairs by a lockable door. The downstairs full kitchen, dining area, laundry, backyard and BBQ is available for your use on request but is normally shared by us. We do eat out a lot and often work till late.

We have our own self contained living area (just off the kitchen), however I work full time (shift work) which means I may be here in the mornings or at nights, varies from day to day and Monny often works late. We are happy to give you total privacy or offer you directions and suggestions as required. We are available to share a wine with you (if you enjoy a red) and hear of your days activities or help with future planning.

The apartment is in the Newtown/Enmore neighbourhood—a great place to stray from tourist traffic and duck into funky shops for clothing, books, second hand stores and coffee in Victorian-style buildings.
Cafes, restaurants, interesting bars and music venues are all close by.
Buses a few minutes walk and trains only 10 minutes for a quick trip to the CBD, Circular Quay, Beaches and connections to other tourist areas.
You will have sole access to your floor in our home.

The house is situated 10min away for Newtown train station, and 2min walk from various bus stops. You can get to the city via the train (10min), or walk along King St/Broadway (30min). USYD and UTS are 10min away by bus, and UNSW only 30min. Coogee beach is only 30 min away by bus, and the famous Bondi beach is only 45min.
An Opal card used for buses/trains/ferries is available from convenience stores close to my home or you can buy on your arrival at the airport.
For more than 3 people a taxi is the cheapest & most convenient form of transport from the airport. Approx. $40 and 35 minutes, traffic dependent of course.

The area has restricted parking please pay attention to the signs. Parking can be difficult some days and I am able to offer you a permit if you're unable to find parking within a reasonable distance.

Garbage day is Wednesday morning and may be a little noisy for 5 minutes, so I have placed earplugs in the bathroom cupboard for light sleepers. We have only had 1 guest in 3 years comment on the noise on garbage day.

There is a single mattress available which can be placed in the lounge room for anyone needing accommodation for more than 4 people. Please contact me as to the availability and pricing.
